In October 2016 I won a contest on Marit's blog, Marit's paper world

and these were my goodies.

I had them neatly stored away

but now it was time to give them some good use.

I used them to create some more collages for my 365somethings.

After making all these collages I got a bit sidetracked with reorganizing my collage supplies 

(a post on this will follow)

I will try to catch up some more this week.

But with a third completed already I am on the right track.

This week I surrended myself to the wonderous world of collage.

Browsing through my collection of scraps, patterned paper, collage images,...

picking items that speak to me

arranging them in a pleasing way

glueing them down

and adding some color here and there

can you tell that I am totally falling in love with collaging!!!

IT IS SO MUCH FUN!!!

AND I found out that it is so easy to pick a limited amount of supplies 

(just a folder with some paper and a glue stick is already enough)

and sit yourself outside, in front of the tv,...

and create some collages.

With this series of indexcards I passed the border of 100 somethings! 

IMPRESSIVE!

(if I say so myself)

But on the other hand I am also a bit disappointed with myself 

because I let myself get behind with the challenge.

At this point I should be at #125,

but no panic still time to catch up

For this series I used some of the marbled backgrounds

and stencilled in black on them.
