WOYWW 358

Wednesday equals to WOYWW or What’s On Your Workdesk.
All details about this blog hop can be found here with our chief desker.
Do join in in the fun, because that is exactly what this is FUN.

So on to my workdesk today,

it actually looks a bit sad if you ask me, not much been going on the last couple of days.
The combination of other obligations and not feeling too well.
What is on my desk are some items I picked up while shopping for some large canvases I need for one of my Wanderlust classes. There are some flowers and washi sheets, never heard of them so I grabbed a couple of them.

I’ve never worked on such a large scale (60x80cm), but I am challenging myself.

  5. Washi sheets? I never heard of that before too... let us know how/if it works, it sounds very interesting! Good luck on the canvas - I try to work that big (or bigger) sometimes but for me it is a real struggle too... however, it's good to challenge yourself every now and then. 9. I've seen some washi sheets on eBay but have no idea how to use them. Perhaps for matting? Do let us know what you do with them! Hope you're feeling better now. Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #32

  10. PS: Oh, yeah, that is a big canvas! You'll probably need an easel for that or hang it on the wall to work on! Is it for the Flora Bowley lesson? I did that on a 12X9", but I think her sort of work is better suited for larger formats. Good luck - it's quite a challenge!

  19. Just a quick reply - the craft room looks out onto the porch. Wish it looked out to the garden so I had natural light but hey ho, I have a dedicated craft room.

  20. All looks very neat, love the colours, a blank canvas can be daunting, but once you start on it you will be fine

  21. No, I hadn't heard of Washi sheets before either. Are they self adhesive? They will come in habdy for some quick projects as the designs are nice.
Thank you for visiting mine and have a great week,

  22. Seems I'm not alone in not having heard of Washi sheet, seems like there are a lot of us waiting to see what you do with them. That board is very large, we are also waiting to see what you do with that.
Thanks for visiting my page, and I would definitely recommend Pan Pastel, I mush prefer them to inks, much easier to use, but they are getting much harder to obtain, on line only. Don't know if you will have any more options in Belgium, any good craft shops selling them.
