This is my take on this fothnight's Q&L challenge
This is my take on the universe.
The background is made using pastel crayons (men were my hands black after this), the circles are punched out some gelli prints and a universe is not complete without butterflies. The quote is stamped on some tissuepaper, I had hoped after gluing it would become more transparent. I maybe redo this and make the quote smaller to fit the space between my planets.
Make the quote smaller by ay means but let it overlap some circles as it does now. Love the planet/universe concept and the quote is witty. Thank you so much for your nice comment, we all need some encouragement don't we!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, I value the input very much.

DeleteSuper. BJ

DeleteI am intrigued by the gelli papers you cut up to turn into a universe. Wonderful background (even if your hands turned black) and quote. Like you, I'm surprised the tissue paper didn't turn transparent. But it's still a beautiful piece of art.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I still need to take my paper outside to spray some fixative on it otherwise I will always have black fingers :-)
