I found this quote from Einstein: "Imagination is more important than knowlegde" and just had to make another page for the Q&L challenge. It has been a while since I did a catch-up page in my dictionary and K was still missing so the perfect opportunity.
At first I wanted to make something really imagitive, surreal even.
But it became something totally different.
The background is black gesso and mathematical formula's from E=mc², this ressembles a schoolbord.
then wrote the quote on torn out dictionary pages:
That's a real imagination... lovely Vicky!
ReplyDeleteI might add some doodling on the word imagination

DeleteGreat chalkboard style effect.
ReplyDeleteThx, you just gave me another idea, use real chalkboard paint and write on it with chalk :-)
DeleteOh i LOVE this so much, chalkboard style is very on trend as is the typography. One of my very favourite quotes brilliantly interpreted:-) x

glad you like it, actually is a very simple page.
DeleteI was a math major in a previous life, so I was really, really impressed with this page. And you did a superb take on the quote, too. Really clever and original.
ReplyDeleteI must say I didn't derive the formula myself but copied it from the net.
