Today my desk is a total mess
Then why on earth am I showing you my desk?
Well, because it is WOYWW (What’s On Your Workdesk
Wednesday),
More details about this bloghop can be found at our chief desker Julia
Dunnit over at The Stamping Ground here.
I left it this way late Sunday evening after finishing this
b-day card
(which I now realize forgot to sign before sending it out,
oops, well the recipient can use the card again then J)
In April I needed a couple of male b-day cards, here are the
other 2.
Also on my desk is my sketchbook to practice drawing, I
started practicing drawing faces following the directions out of the Suzi Blu's book I showed
you last week, need lots more practice though.
Now I'm off seeing as many desks as possible, at least something nice to do with this terrible weather: cold, windery and lots and lots of rain.
your cards - especially the third one - are gorgeous! I have been known to forget to sign a card too.... oops! Helen #1
ReplyDeleteGreat cards and lol I'm glad I'm not the only one who like to post blank cards hugs Nikki 7
ReplyDeleteI'm loving those cards! Your desk currently resembles my mess..lol. Elaine no. 11
ReplyDeleteSorry, I laughed about the non signing of the card...I've done that too! As you say, it's ok cos your friend can reuse the card!!

Your cards are lovely - well done. Glad you had such a productive crafty playtime! Your desk doesn't look that bad, you know - just creative.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

I have a feeling you are not alone at sending cards without signing them...I even wrote a Christmas card to a friend once and got her hubby's name wrong...it gave us a few chuckles!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.

Lovely cards. I enjoyed the peek at your desk. Happy WOYWW. Susanne #38
ReplyDeleteLove the cards. Had to smile at you not signing the card. I came downstairs this morning and thought the kitchen was warmer than normal. Turned out I'd left the oven on over night! You're in good company... Cara x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards! I forgot to put anything in my Mum's Christmas card. I was running behind, wrote in my sisters' and included lovely notes as well but was trying to get them out in the post and forgot to put anything in Mum's. Luckily she was really understanding.

Good morning Love the cards you made and great job on drawing the face I can not wait to see how she looks when done. Thanks for visiting me earlier today and have a great week Hugs~Anne L#14
ReplyDeleteLovely cards! I like that one with the purple wall. It's always difficult to make male cards.
ReplyDeleteOops, I think we've all done that at some stage. She won't mind, I'm sure.
Thank you for visiting,
Happy WOYWW,
Have a good week too,
Lisca
Great cards! I think I just saw a sketch like the second one on Pinterest. Looks better made into a card. 😉
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.

Great cards. I have sent cards before now without signing them :-) Anne x #56
ReplyDeletePart of my condition is the risk of Palsy and your Suzi Blue inspired face made me laugh; the Practioner on my case is always trying to avoid the P word and instead asks "is your face still geometrically aligned?" I shall be very tempted to steal this for him, she's so lovely already! Your desk doesn't seem untidy to me; last minute stuff does that to a gal. Lost count of the number of cards I've sent unsigned...take heart! And I have to say, I think you've nailed the cards for men thing.
ReplyDeleteYou are not the only one that forgets to sign cards you can be sure of that Lol! Happy woyww, Angela x 21
ReplyDeleteSuper cards Vicky. How funny you are trying to draw faces, that is what I took away with me to Wales these last few days. Sadly not done any since I got home, must remedy.
ReplyDeleteHugs & Thanks for the visit to my blog- Neet 3 xx
