WOYWW 413 - background 17/100

Hello and welcome on this drousey Wednesday,
but on the up side it IS Wednesday, 
so this means time to share our workdesk over at Julia's place ( click HERE for all details)
Here is an aerial view from my desk


















yes, you guessed it correct, there is another background on my desk, #16 to be correct.


















I must say this was a case of sticking to it and keep on adding until I slightly like the outcome, which I eventually did.


Craftsmarket update:
Thanks for all the positive vibes and thoughts last week, they definitely worked.
The cards arrived on time!
I had some sales on Friday and everybody that visited my stand was very interested, they had never heard about mixed media and LOVED my work. What a boost.

I actually won first price for most original/beautiful stand.
The price was a nice bouquet of flowers and a voucher for 50 euros for a local craft store.















So it was a success.
On to the next step in my businessplan.

    Backgrounds are so forgiving - I jtoo ust keep on going until I like them, sometimes I end up totally glazing over a surface and reworking the whole piece, they are impossible to waste and as such a very rewarding way to spend time... dxxx#29

    Yep, I'd have given you the prize too, love the look of your stand..not too busy, lovely and colourful and above all, approachable! It looks as if you have a box full of lip balm stick sin the middle of your desk..what are they really?
