Hello,
A very late entry from me this week, usually I am one of the first.
But there was not a lot to show as I haven't been doing anything the last couple of days but today I started on lesson #2 from Wanderlust.
This is how my desk looked like when I left it just a minute ago.
A close up of my mark making page for later reference.
That I haven't been doing anything the last couple of days is not completely right, I must say haven't been crafting for me as I am in the midst of a project with my son. Sunday morning he saw an episode of Art Attack on the Disney channel and came up to the craft room inspired and ready to make a bee postbox. Whoever knows Art attack and their projects will know that in practice it is the adult that executes the project while the kid can't wait for it to be finished. Here is our postbox so far, still need to paint the yellow stripes though, this will probably be for our crafting session tomorrow.
My visits to the other desks will have to wait till tomorrow, because I'm off to bed now.Till next time.
Great project with your son! Fun crafting. I like your pages - very bright and colourful

Love the marks, and the bee postbox is really fun! Thank you for your visit to my blog. Of course the chicken packaging is hygienic - you do wash it first lol!! Also it gets completely covered with gesso and other stuff. I've never caught anything off my art haha!!

That bee post box is adorable! Your son will be so proud! Shame it's not a school project, then he could take it with him to show and tell! My son is always beaming with pride when he gets to take some of our projects to school with him. Great mark-making - I wish there was a book on the market full of mark-making and doodling samples! Sometimes when I sit down to create something, the ideas just don't come! Thanks for visiting earlier! zsuzsa #47
ReplyDeleteEven though you may be doing most of the work on the postbox, the time that you are spending with your son is invaluable. As an educator, I also believe you are helping develop his creative skills. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteGreat to be crafting with your son. Start them as early as possible. Thank you for your visit . The juice challenge is not what you might think. It is not the kind of juice you buy from a supermarket. They are all a mix of healthy fruit and veg and more like healthy smoothies. There is even a really thick one that tastes like chocolate. In two weeks, I have not once been hungry and I feel absolutely great halfway through the challenge. Hope you have a great week. xx Maggie #65
ReplyDeleteI'm sure watching you crafting is the very best way for your son to learn - that postbox is going to look great!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit

Making the Bee Post with your son will be a great memory for you both (even if you do most all the work). Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have a great rest of the week!

ReplyDeleteLove the colours, nice and bright. I love Art Attack, not sure its still on here though, my girls loved watching and not necessarily making stuff from it LOL

I love your bright and colourful pages and wow, what a project you're doing with your son, what a lucky lad he is to have such an enthusiastic and arty mum on hand! Sorry I'm so late getting round, hope you have a great week,

ReplyDeleteThe journal page looks great. I love circles on a page. I'm actually keeping more stamps than I wanted to - will probably weed through them again in a few months.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting me. I got sick late Wednesday so was down for the count most of the weekend.
Happy belated WOYWW
Peace,
Kay
