Hello,
Finally.
I did something creative yesterday, it has been too long,
why?
I don't know.
Maybe I should set myself the challenge to blog every single day??
I'm not only showing you my journal page
but also a shot from my desk as it is WOYWW (all details can be found here)
You blog as often as you feel able. There are no rights and wrongs. It is hard work blogging everyday (I have managed it since February), I end up preparing posts in advance for days when I go into work, so I can share them before I go in. Lots of lovely layers and texture on that journal page. Sarah #4
ReplyDeletealways lovely to see who has joined up with woyww. Great AJ page.

Love your journal page - I'm a big fan of numbers and drips and you have both on one page! The challenge to blog every day would be too stressful for me. We have too many challenges in our lives already - I would say just blog when you feel like it. That's what I do! There's no point putting extra pressure on yourself! Enjoy your week! zsuzsa #22
ReplyDeleteLove the drippy orange juice all over your journal page, it reminds me of crafting over breakfast and missing my mouth! If you are demotivated try just spraying your journal as you walk past until after loads of layers you want to do something with it... all you need for set up is an open page and a few bottles of very much added water to a bit of acrylic in those cheap plastic spray bottles you get in holiday packs from chemists....it never dries out in the bottle and is semi opaque matte when dry on the page..... dxxx#17
ReplyDeleteGreat crafty desk this week!Blogging is a lot of work and while writing daily works fro some, I just can't because of my day job. I agree with Sarah, you blog when you feel like. Great art journal page. Like everyone else I like those orange drips. Diane #8
ReplyDeleteGreat desk! To answer - I stalk Julia until she's posted the link then get ready for work!! Helen #1
ReplyDeleteHi Vicky, I find that sometimes I will blog two or three times a week, other times it will just be for WOYWW. Totally with everyone else- do it when it feels right, otherwise it will either feel forced, or you will lose the love because you 'have' to do it. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #6 XxX
ReplyDeleteOops, I must have forgotten you live in the Netherlands. Also to visit you the other week when you had your gilding wax piece on show (love it). My geography is terrible and I will have to look at a map to see how far you are from Nijerk. It would be good to meet up at the show.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the language lesson, I must remember that now.
Loved the trip but most of all it was the people that made it.
Hugs, Neet 2 xx
ps great journal page and painterly desk - love the drips on the pages - I forget about things like that, must remember
Lovely creative space - love your colourful journal page as well. Have a great week. Soojay 28 xx
ReplyDeleteIt can be so hard to blog regularly, can't it. I've given up and just do it once a week as I know I can manage that without taking up too much time. . Love your journal page.

Lovely journal page! And your desk looks nice and creative. Setting a goal to blog everyday may be setting yourself up for failure, as it may be very hard to keep up. You need a goal you know you can meet! Once a week is all I seem to be able to do, and sometimes not even that! Thanks for sharing, Lindart #38
ReplyDeleteI love your journal pages! Someday i need to learn how to do that. I agree with Sarah, blog as much as you want, don't feel obligated.
ReplyDeleteSuzanne #43
Nice journal page! I go through dribs and drabs at blogging. I try to keep it up but sometimes there really isn't a lot interesting going on (hence the name of my blog lol).

Some days I just don't want to be creative. I actually can watch videos and read blogs and think about being creative, but I won't actually make myself go down to my craft room to create something. I think we all need a break. But not too long a break. :-) April #33
ReplyDeleteLove your journal page and the ink/paint running down. I did it once during an online course and really ought to do it again as it is so effective and gives great movement to the page. Thanks for the visit yesterday BJ#9
ReplyDeleteThere is no hard and feast rule about crafting and blogging, which is just as well really as I've done next to nothing for a few weeks - there's just been to much other stuff to do with decorating the new house, having visitors to stay etc etc. I do like you journal page though, the orange drips really make it sing!

It's great to see your ear and it's all painty and creative! But if you aren't in the mood or can't make time, don't bother...it's meant to be fun, this craft and blog thing!
ReplyDeleteGood to see you again Vicky, and what a lovely art journal spread! I used to blog three times a week but nowadays it's only one (and sometimes two) times a week... the blogging community isn't as big and active as it was before (due to the 'fast' Facebook)and it made me blog less too, but I won't quit! I like blogs, I like YOUR blog too so see you next time! Oh, and thanks for visiting my desk last week (I'm late with visiting back) Love from Holland, Marit #13
