stars

The background was created by first sponging on blue and black acrylic paint and then adding splatters of yellow, red and gold paint. This was so much fun to do and the result is a stunning universe.

For the stars I used a homemade stencil and some fluor yellow paint. I painted the earth with my fingers, I love the texture on that. And then last but not least added a Lavinia fairy couple stamp.

    1. I love stencils, but this can become very expensive, so I invested in a heattool so I can make my own, all you need is a lot of patience depending on the design.

  4. Your background and foreground seem interchangeable! A great technique! You must have had some very painty fingers after finishing this great journal spread! The shite fairies are the perfect embellishment! Thanks for participating this week in the Stampotique Designers' Challenge!
